PAGE RANK - Dynamic or Static

'PageRank' a little word and the little "Green bar" is more little then the word. It looks like a little bar but plays a big role when we measure the value of our webpage.

It’s probably just the Google Dance "I mean the Google PageRank" update still going on. When you watch your website's pagerank you noticed this, doesn’t it seem that PageRank is dynamic now rather than static in-between updates?

I notice this many time, when I open the website in the morning, PageRank is lower across the board or sometime it's higher then previous day, if fluctuates. Could this mean that PageRank is changing based on live data rather than remaining static even though the underlying values it represents are constantly changing? Would this be a good thing?

PageRank plays a important role when we trying to exchange links with others. For the link sellers it would have an impact. Instead of stating you have a PageRank of 4 to potential link buyers you say your PageRank fluctuates between 4 and 6. It would also provide more meaningful statistics as you could tell when your site was rising in Google as the PageRank rises on a more current basis. Many of us online related guys believe that PageRank depends on the link value. If we got few links but quality links then the PageRank(PR) will be improve, if we collect backlinks with low PR then we have to collect many backlinks as we could, and as those site's PR become low or high so our site's PR will be fluctuated.

When Google plays with PageRank, all kinds of guess goes on. It really has an impact on us Webmasters. We think and talk about it. We must do it better and When it's happen we have to chase that little "Green bar".

"CLOAK" PAGES

In my previous blog-post I told about "shadow domain" and also said "This type of sites called 'cloaked' site" . Some aggressive marketers generate thousands of cloaked pages ("phantom pages") highly tuned for the search engines.

Cloak pages display Web page content differently to search engine spiders than to humans in order to achieve higher rankings in search engine results.
It's a page with more keywords on a subject(according to the web page or the content of the page) tend to rank higher than those with fewer keywords, but excessive repetition of a word makes the Web page look unskilled.

JavaScript and AJAX code are widely used to hide extra text when they detect a user, beside it allow the repetitive text to appear for a search engine spider. In recent days the advance cloaking is known as "IP Delivery" this redirect the visitors to the appropriate Web page based on IP address, this IP is the domain name which we are using to find a website.

According to the search engine guidelines any type of cloaking is bad, are there cases where cloaking might be legitimate. Cloaking is often considered a Black Hat technique, because it tries to trick search engines into giving the site a higher ranking than it normally should. Actually this subject is very controversial and SEO experts continue to debate about when cloaking might be acceptable and when it is not. It's depends on those who already used this and had the results whatever it's bad or good.
At last I say that any type of technique which is called or related to the Black Hat technique shouldn't use for SEO, may it gives us better result but always we have to try so called White Hat technique.

"SHADOW DOMAIN"

Many of us heard about this type of domain. Shadow domain is a web site set up for search engine spiders rather than humans. Shadow domains are indexed by the search engines just like all other sites on the Web, except the shadow domain is not for human visitors and the content of the shadow domain would look like gibberish. This pages are loaded with extra keywords that make the page look like top-notch content to the spider and help rank the page higher in the search results. This type of sites called "cloaked" site, the pages are known as "phantom pages."

In highly competitive areas the technique is used. It drives traffic to the targeted domain, and invisible to the end users but rarely caught. Shadow domain redirect human visitors to the **main domain for which the shadow domain had created.

The key here is not javascript as I know. The domain owner set up the shadow on their own server and use the script to redirect, this is invisible to the human.

Actually the key to a good shadow domain is the ability to redirect a human to the real Web page upon arriving on the phantom page, beside it the more interesting thing is, it lets the search engine spiders to scan the page. Is not it so interesting?

USING COPY IN LANDING PAGE

To create a high-converting landing page is in regards to how much copy we would use?

Ok, at first we consider what is or are our prospects and how much we need to say about our product and services. According to my thought we can use AIDA formula.
First we should capture the attention of the visitors and make the interest for our product and services then grow desire, and call for action.

At first we may have some questions:

  • Why do I need your product?
  • Why should I wait for it?
  • Why should I pay more for your product?
  • Is it still effective (suppose, I don't trust natural products)?
If you're selling a complicated product people may not even know they have need for.
The visitors or the customer wonders whether, "Is it worth the investment," "Do I (customer) really need it to get results?" and so on.

So, Simply put, don't be afraid of using long copy. Aim to say what needs to be said to move to the next step, just it. If you have some doubt then simply use website optimizer.

TIPS TO INCREASE CONVERSION RATE

TURN YOUR SOCIAL NETWORKING FRIENDS INTO YOUR CUSTOMER.

Increase your conversion rate through social networking sites. Social networking site helps to generate the traffic to your website and if your conversion rate is good then you will have them as your customer.

First thing you need to know which social bookmarking or networking site is better for your website and after you created your account there make sure about the category. It should be according to your website's theme. Because you will found your visitors there. People have different thought and different hobbies so they visit/create their profile according to their thought and hobbies and...etc.

According to my thought Social Networking is a fun likewise.
Isn't it?
You get to meet all these people and connect with them and spend hours looking at their profiles and videos and photos and...

The landing page of the social networking site is so vital for your website. It's a special page on your web site or blog designed specifically for your social networking friends.
It should be something like your websites index page which people see first.

What the heck is a social networking landing page?
Well, it's a special page on your web site or blog designed specifically for your social networking folks. This special page continues the conversation you started on other social networking sites. You should designed the landing page and make it more attractive (just make it catchy) also. whether it's your prospects clicking on a Google Ad (if you using Google AD there).
I have seen many people end their social networking friends to their home page or their blog / s, even I do. You see, the home page of your web site or the first page of your blog is more general. It has to be.
You don't know how people are finding your site. They could be on it because they just read an article by you or someone referred you. You have to keep it generic about the problems you solve and the solutions you are providing. Always try to push them to give you their Email address.

After creating a landing page specifically for your social network folks that continues the conversation started in the social networking scene, you'll be that much nigher to transmuting them into eventual customers.

All we know that Social Networking is all about to build a relationship(friend or etc) and through it people naturally support you and may be become your customer.
Many people use different process to increase the conversion rate through social network . But Social Networking is become so popular in now days so we can use this opportunity and will have the result.

How to Maximize your Page Rank and Google Page Rank Misconceptions

HOW TO RAISE PAGE RANK;

To keep in mind is the fact that Goo

Page Rank is nothing but the measure of a website's visibility over the web. So the only way to get a higher Page Rank is by getting some quality link-backs to your website. One very important factor to keep in mind is the fact that Google is against attempts made by webmasters to unnaturally increase their Page Ranks. This means Google is against link farms, link selling and any other practice which has been specifically developed to increase the Page Rank of a website in an unnatural manner. Google considers such attempts as a manipulation of its ranking algorithm and can even penalize websites found guilty. Google clearly explains this on its website.

One easy way of generating links in involves searching the internet to find relevant sites that are either vertically or horizontally related and asking them for a link exchange. Links brought in this manner are more effective and can help successfully increase the Page Rank. In addition to getting links from websites, getting links from quality directories is another way to increase your link popularity. You can also generate inbound links through article submission and press releases among others.

Some important factors to consider:

1. Try and get High PR Links
Quality of back links secured is more important than the mere volume of back links. A link from a webpage having a PR7 will fetch a website more value than 200 back links from a PR3 page. In addition to this the relevancy of links is also taken into consideration by Google in its ranking algorithm. So it important to get back links from related websites (Websites should be related either horizontally or vertically). Getting too many links from unrelated websites is considered by Google as an attempt to unnaturally gather links and the website may be penalized.

2. Avoid Link backs to Link Farms
Link Farms are very similar to webrings. Link farms are formed for the sheer purpose of exchanging links and improving the link popularity of participating websites. The downside is that link farms are considered by Google and other major search engines as 'bad neighborhoods'. This means that participating in link farms can get a website penalized to the extent that the site's listing may be removed. So make sure you stay out of link farms and do not link back to any of them from your website.

3. Carry Out Internal Link Text Optimization
As mentioned above, page-ranks are specific to a web page and do not apply to the entire website. But this does not mean that a website having 100 odd pages has to secure links for all those 100 pages individually. The best part about Page Rank is that it is passed on from one page to another and this applies to internal pages as well. So in-case a website has a homepage rank of '6' chances are that the page rank will be passed on to the internal pages and all of them might get a PR of 3 to 4. The thing to note here is the linking structure of a website. Page rank can pass from one page to another only if the pages are interlinked. The best way to go about it is by including a Site Map or providing site wide links on a website.

4. Get Links from SEO friendly Directories
One way links or links that are not reciprocated are generally given more value as they seem more like a naturally secured link. Links from good directories are hence an excellent means of increasing the page rank and to also get more crawls. OPD is a great directory to start with.

5. Get Links that are Placed Higher
Generally in a link exchange campaign websites tend to place outbound links on specially created link pages. The fact to be noted here is that the Page Rank is passed based on the order of links and the number of links on that web page. So the links on top of the link page will get more PR value in comparison to those at the bottom.

Outgoing links and Page Rank:
The supposition that outgoing links can cause PR leakage may be true for all you know. But it would be safe to assume that even if outgoing links do leak PR, the leak is almost insignificant in comparison to the PR gained by a website from an incoming link. One thing that should be taken into consideration is the number of links on a web page. Google emphasizes that no webpage should have more than 100 hyperlinks.

Misconceptions:

Improved search engine rank is attainable through good search engine optimization, part of which is the maximizing of your Google Page Rank through intelligent linking with other web pages.

Google Page Rank is a buzz term at the moment since many believe it to be more important to your search engine listing than search engine optimization. If we ignore for the moment the fact that Page Rank is, in itself, a form of SEO, then there are arguments for and against that belief.

Most search engines list web pages, not domains (websites). What that means is that every web page in a domain has to be relevant to a specific search term if it is to be listed.

A search engine customer is the person who is using that engine to seek information. It is not an advertiser or the owner of a website. It is the user seeking information. The form of words that is used by that customer is called a ‘search term’. This becomes a ‘keyword’ when applied to a webmaster trying to anticipate the form of words that a user will employ to search for their information.

Search engines works by analyzing the semantic content of a web page and determining the relative importance of the vocabulary used, taking into account the title tags, the heading tags and the first text it detects. It will also check out text related contextually to what it considers to be the main ‘keywords’ and then rank that page according to how relevant it calculates it to be for the main theme of the page. It will then examine the number of other web pages that are linked to it, and regard that as a measure of how important, or relevant to the ‘keyword’, that the page is.

It is true, therefore, that it is possible to get a high listing without much content, but with a large number of links it's can be possible.
